Based in Dubai, Geepas are an established electricals brand with a wide category offer and an extensive customer base across the middle east.

The Challenge

Geepas looked to Blink to help build brand awareness and perception within the UK while remaining aligned to its international base. In addition to creating the brand story, creative application and campaign, we were also asked to elevate the quality of Geepas product imagery, plus support all image and packaging design production for all categories. This was a large scoping project utilising Blink’s full strategic and creative offer, and we were delighted to take on the challenge.

Our Approach

We knew that with an established international identity, Geepas UK should be enhanced not re-imagined, so we elevated the ‘G’ brandmark into a more icon-based graphic. To introduce Geepas to a largely unaware UK audience, we also focussed on tone of voice to build personality with ‘Gee’, a UK centric and light-hearted phrase that linked directly to the brand name, which could integrate across all brand messaging.

To deliver refreshed product imagery, we constructed UK styled home environments in our photographic studios to create both lifestyle and cut-out image assets for both ecommerce and packaging.

Finally, to unite all stakeholders, we created a series of comprehensive Brand Guides that detailed all aspects of the Geepas brand story and identity, with rules of use and creative content application across all brand touch points.
